Sporting Clays

sporting Clays

There is nothing quite like the feeling of excitement and the thrill that comes with shooting a clay out of the sky. It can be extremely challenging, yet a complete beginner can participate and enjoy it. Often referred to as “golf with a shotgun,” sporting clays are shot on a course; no two are the same.  A sporting clays course setup is only limited by the course designer’s imagination and the surrounding terrain. We guarantee it’ll be an experience loaded with memories – great shots, “almosts” and incredible walks through nature.

Adventure Explorations sport-shooting experiences are a can’t miss choice. With top of the line equipment, such as Berettas and Caesar Guerini’s, knowledgeable/approachable instructors, excellent facilities, Adventure Explorations will make this trip something you maybe didn’t expect. If you have never shot a gun or are a seasoned veteran, this is time well-spent. You’re in the woods and traverse different stations, learning new techniques and adjusting to new visuals and “looks”.

Sporting Clays is one of the few sports that can be enjoyed year-round. Some of our favorite times are in the winter, just after snow.

Absolutely! Our guides will assist in making sure your experience is safe and enjoyable.

Safety is the first propriety for all of our experiences. Your guide will be at your side and will intervene if necessary.

We use two different facilities, both less than 60 minutes from either Boiling Springs or Lancaster

If it’s the Spring, Summer or Fall, use layers to keep your body comfortable. If the winter, we’ll be using the same gear, but the same principle applies. Wear comfortable pants and a top that you can move easily in.  Use a non-cotton base layer, preferably lightweight (cool days) or a layer made for whisking sweat and heat away.  Wear eye protection and use Croakies to secure them. All wallets and phones get put into dry storage and travel with you.
