Our online reservation system shows all available adventures and allows booking up to 23 hours prior to the activity. In order to have the best choice in dates and time for your adventure, we encourage you to book as soon as possible. This will also allow us to accommodate special requests and to arrange the highest quality experience possible. For a last-minute booking please call or text 240-394-0442 and we will get back to you within an hour.

Adventure Explorations is open seven days a week and is available by phone anytime of the day. You may book online here (Link), call or text 240-394-0442 or email us at

Gratuity is not included but is highly suggested and appreciated. Your guide works very hard to make your experience top notch. It is customary to present a 10-20% tip to your
guide at the conclusion of your trip.

Lunch is included in our full day experiences. You may also add on a meal to any of our half day experience. Please let us know if we should accommodate certain dietary
restrictions.

All of our adventures provide professional guide service, necessary specific equipment, safety equipment, snacks, and water. If there is something more you would like to add
to your trip, please let us know! Our full day experiences also include a locally sourced lunch.

Adventure Explorations is located in Lancaster and also Boiling Springs, PA, only 1 1/2 hours from Philadelphia and Baltimore and 2 hours from Washington D.C. We are also fairly close to Hershey, Harrisburg and Gettysburg Our adventures take place throughout Pennsylvania and we are also very mobile. 

Boiling Springs is a village that surrounds the Children’s Lake, right on  the Appalachian Trail in South Central Pennsylvania. We’re 30 minutes from Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania. Hershey Park is a short 40 minute drive and it’s only 90 minutes to Philadelphia and Baltimore, MD. Washington DC is only a 2-hour drive and Pittsburg is
3 hours away.

The locations of our trips vary based upon the type of adventure, the weather and size of your group. Our guide will contact you within 48 hours of your trip and confirm a 
meeting location. All of our trips take place in South -Central Pennsylvania around Lancaster and Boiling Springs, PA

At Adventure Explorations, we take pride in the meticulous steps we take to mitigate as many risks as possible. We employ only highly trained and accredited guides and use
only top-of-the-line equipment. We always avoid unnecessary risks. However, with any physical activity, there is a natural risk for accidents.

We tailor all of our outdoor recreational experiences to accommodate all levels and needs. You do not have to be in peak shape in order to participate in any of our
activities. We believe that adventure should be fun and learnable. That’s our motto. From beginner to advanced, every trip is tailored just for you and your group.

We do not have a minimum age for our activities but some of our adventures are better suited for children such as rock climbing and paddling. Please contact us for specific
questions!

Most of our adventures will not be affected by a little rain. In the case of severe weather which may put our guests at risk, Adventure Explorations will ask to reschedule your
activity. The safety of our guests and our guides is our top priority.

We do not rent gear. All of our adventures are guided by local professional and high- quality gear is provided on all adventures. Are you interested in booking one? Book here

All our lead guides are qualified in first aid as well as carry a first aid kit with them. In the case of an emergency beyond the scope of our guide’s skill, an EMT will be called
immediately.

You will be provided with a list of recommendations prior to your trip. However, we are happy provide you with everything you need to enjoy the day if you just prefer to show up!

Each trip will be led by a highly qualified and experienced guide. They may be assisted by a number of junior guides, with varying levels of experience and qualifications. If your
group exceed six, we will have an additional guide on the adventure.

All of our adventures are private, therefore only you – or you and your guests – will be on your personal adventure. The only other people with you will be our guide.

You may bring your dog on your trip, however we prefer that you do not as adventures are easier to execute without a pet along. If bringing your dog is necessary, we will do our best to accommodate but the dog must remain in a leash for the entire experience.

Boiling Springs and the entire Cumberland Valley is full of history and interesting sights. We highly suggest a trip to Gettysburg which is only a short 30-minute drive. Check out
Orvis Hill Country, one of the premier sporting clays, upland hunting, and instructional shooting properties, or dine and drink at Troegs Independent Brewing Company. Go to

There are many beautiful sites and fun things to do in our state. Visit historic Gettysburg for a tour or Lancaster to get a look at the life of the Amish. Chocolate lover? You are in luck because Hershey’s Chocolate World is nearby. The Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg and the Carlisle Car Flea Market & Corral occur yearly.

Visit alltrials.com to find the best hiking trails near you, and in and around South-Central Pennsylvania. Of course, you won’t want to miss seeing and hiking at least a bit of the
Appalachian Trail while you are in Boiling Springs.

If you must cancel your trip, please do so 14 days prior to your originally scheduled adventure to receive a full refund. Cancellations received between 7 to 13 days in
advance will receive a 50% refund.
