Overview

You will be challenged! Whether a long-time expert or a never-timer, you’ll immediately appreciate the preparation and focus needed to fall in love with this sport. It’s a favorite of Adventure Explorations because of the diversity of challenges and the speed of the clays flying through the air. But, you will be successful, whether you’ve hit 3 clays or knocked down a bunch more. With 50-100 shots per course and 10-15 stations, each presents possible combinations to shoot down the clay with a shotgun sized to each person. The adrenaline flows and you’ll be excited for each  new station to experiment with new approaches.

Experience Highlights:

Welcome, and Safety Briefing:

Begin the day with a welcome from our experienced instructors and, typically, a simple breakfast and warm-up drink.

Receive a thorough safety briefing, ensuring everyone is comfortable with the equipment and aware of the safety protocols.

We typically start with games of some sort to acclimate and introduce everyone to each other, and to the guides since you’ll be working closely with each. You’ll quickly discover that team support makes a difference!

Equipment Orientation:

Get acquainted with the shotguns, ammo, equipment and the best ways to carry what’s needed.

Learn the basics of handling, aiming, and shooting from our expert instructors.

Team Building Activities:

Scenic Shooting Stations:

Enjoy shooting at multiple stations, each offering different angles and difficulties.

Appreciate the beautiful natural surroundings while moving between stations.

Pairs Competition:

Work in pairs to hit as many clays as possible, fostering collaboration and support.

Team Relay:

Compete in a relay-style shoot, emphasizing teamwork and coordination.

Skill Challenges:

Engage in various skill challenges designed to test precision, focus, and quick decision-making.

(Optional) Lunch and Relaxation:

Break for a delicious picnic lunch prepared by our guides or, potentially, from an outside provider depending on the needs of the group.

Share experiences and strategies with team members in a casual setting.

Group Challenges:

Buddy Shoots:

Pair up and take turns shooting, with one person providing feedback and encouragement to the other.

Speed Round: Participate in timed shooting challenges to test speed and accuracy under pressure.

Reflection and Discussion:

Gather for a group session, sharing the day’s activities, successes and frustrations but all driven by a combination of self-discovery and team camaraderie.

Discuss how the skills and insights gained can be applied in the workplace or daily life.
