What you'll do

Low Ropes Course: This is an outdoor team-building activity that involves various physical and mental challenges. Activities such as balancing on logs, crossing obstacles, navigating through webs and mazes, or maneuvering through a series of ropes and cables are examples of how we integrate a variety of skills and challenges. Low ropes activities can be managed indoors or outside. Most importantly, they are built to be highly customized dependent on different factors especially weather, individual needs, physical and mental challenges and site location.

Unlike high ropes courses, low ropes are closer to the ground which intensifies the experience, adding new facets and challenges to teambuilding. It definitely brings greater focus to communication, problem-solving skills, and trust-building rather than individual physical challenges.

Portable Initiatives: Portable initiatives are similar to low ropes courses but can be set up both indoors or outdoors, making them more flexible and accessible. Having the flexibility to travel and to build experiences customized to client’s needs, especially during the winter and times of nasty weather.  Examples of portable initiatives include team-building games, trust falls, problem-solving challenges, radio-controlled truck course navigation, escape rooms and lazer-related mazes. This provides clients significant flexibility to customize experiences based on organizational needs.

During both low ropes courses and portable initiatives, participants typically work together in teams to overcome obstacles, confront communication breakdowns, develop more acute listening skills and empathy. These activities are facilitated by trained instructors who guide participants through the challenges so everyone squeezes the most out of the time spent and to build and deepen relationships. Always, we save time for discussion so we can all learn from each other and bring back new skills to further an organization’s needs. With a particular emphasis on grit and resiliency training, especially for organizations,  we’re able to accelerate learning and extract lessons for personal and professional growth.
